How to restrict number of results and duration of search
You can also restrict the numbers of results you want to be presented in the result table. apart from that, you can also define the maximum duration of a search.
How it works:
1. In the options menu, click on the command Agent options to open the dialogue Agent options.
2. Click on the register Limits.
3. In the area Timeout you can define if you want to interrupt the search after some time or if you want the search to be repeated, for example. Just click on the option preferred.
4. In the input field Timeout (sec) you enter the maximum desired duration (in seconds) of the search before it is interrupted or repeated. In case you have chosen the option Retry query, please enter the maximum number of retries in the field Retries.
5. In the area maximum results, you can enter the maximum number of hits shown per source in the field per source. In the field in total, you enter the maximum number of all hits presented in the result table.
